Here's a  miniature ship for home builders.  Its small enough to be built in most garages or backyards but capable of extensive cruising on inland or coastal waters, it will be ideal for the dedicated single-hander.  Construction is of the most basic kind and is designed to make use of locally available and affordable materials.   A good first project for builders of limited experience.

Construction: strip planking with glass sheathing inside and out, or plywood in wide strakes.
